Above is the cover of 'The Mongoloids: Assorted Music' album, which was released in January of 2008 and for which I made all the illustrations. The artwork for the album, including the CD booklet artwork and case artwork, tells a story I created in somewhat of a comic book form.

Before the album was released Greg of the Mongoloids came to me with an idea to help promote the album. The idea was to create back-stories for the characters I had made in the album artwork.
Below are all the character profiles as originally seen on The Mongoloids website (which seems to no longer be around). Learn more about the characters from the album art by clicking on the below images. (Fans of the 1990s Marvel cards series may appreciate how some of the information is presented.)

If you want to see what ultimately becomes of these characters, go ahead and buy the album by clicking here. After you get it, just pop the CD into your musical playing device, remove CD booklet from CD case and begin leafing through. The Mongoloids will take you on a musical journey, as you discover the ultimate fates of Slimuel and friends. Those who read along with the lyrics in the CD booklet may notice that the accompanying imagery goes with the mood of each song.

The album was also released as a record for those of you who enjoy the subtley superior sounds of that antiquated technology. There was a limited release for the vinyls, but I have seen some on ebay.
